Setgraph AI Review: Best AI Workout Generator App for Custom Training Plans
Setgraph AI Review: Is This Workout Generator Right for You?
As lifters, we all have a routine. Whether that would be push pull legs, the Arnold split, full body, we all have our own routine that we love to hit day in and day out. But every once in a while, we need a change.
That’s why I decided to run a week-long split using the new Setgraph AI, a custom plan tailored to my goals.
Over the past week, I analyzed each individual exercise to see if this was beneficial to me and could help me excel in the fitness realm.
How To Create Your Custom Plan
Starting out with Setgraph AI to create your plan is the easy part. There’s a simple multi-step process to create your plan:
1. Set Your Goal
Setgraph AI prompts you to set your goal with two options:
• Physique Goal: Targets specific muscle groups to help you achieve your ideal body.
• Athletic Performance Goal: Optimizes your training for sport-specific or functional performance. Options include traditional strength training, powerlifting, endurance training, CrossFit, and even specific sports like basketball, boxing, and track & field.
2. Simple Customization
Once you select a goal:
• If you choose Physique, it lets you choose whether to grow or define each muscle group.
• If you choose Athletic Performance, you’ll answer a simple prompt about your current training level: beginner, intermediate, or advanced.
3. Advanced Customization
This is where you tailor your plan:
• Choose your weekly schedule
• Select available equipment• Pick exercises you enjoy
• Input age, sex, and additional preferences
After you go through these simple steps, Setgraph AI will take care of the rest. This generates the workout plan you want allowing you to go hit the gym without thinking of what. exercise is next.
My Experience with Setgraph AI: Testing the Workout Generator
With how simple it was, I had to try it out. I created a weekly plan based on the Physique Goal and selected "grow" for every body part except abs, which I set to "define." I chose the advanced training level, since I’ve been consistent in the gym for about 5 years.
For advanced customization:
• Time: 60 minutes
• Frequency: 5 days/week
• Equipment: Full gym access
• Age/Sex: Inputted
• Extras: Left blank

My Personal Impressions
Setgraph AI certainly made it easy to create a valuable workout plan. However, that doesn’t mean there aren’t any flaws. Let’s break it down.
Pros
Simplicity for beginners: Setgraph AI creates a simple workout plan that is easy to follow. Even if it is your first week or two in the gym, these exercises are about as cookie cutter as you can get
Results: You don’t need all these fancy exercises to make gains. Setgraph AI gets straight to the point of each workout
Well-Organization: When creating your workout, it organizes your lifts by day so you don’t have to worry about where the exercises will end up in the app.
Cons
Tougher for the advanced crowd: Those who are more advanced in the lifting world may struggle to find as much success as these exercises.
Low volume: Those looking for higher volume and more exercises per workout in 60 minutes of time may want to add one or two of their own per workout
Final Thoughts: Is Setgraph the Best AI Workout Generator?
Setgraph AI is a great tool, especially for beginner and intermediate lifters who want guidance. Advanced lifters can still benefit, especially by diving into the customization settings and tweaking their plan further.
If you’re looking for an app that’s simple, structured, and effective, Setgraph is the way to go.
