We’re excited to introduce one of our biggest workout tracking upgrades yet: Duration Tracking, along with a completely new Exercise Properties system that makes Setgraph more flexible for every training style.

Whether you’re logging planks, wall sits, stretching, cardio intervals, or traditional strength training, workouts now adapt to the way you train.

Duration Tracking

Exercises can now track Duration in addition to reps and weight.

You’ll see a new inline duration field directly inside the set recording screen, with two built-in timer modes:

  • Stopwatch Mode: track elapsed time live

  • Countdown Timer: set a target duration before starting

Duration is now fully integrated throughout the app, including:

  • Workout recording

  • Rest timers

  • History

  • Analytics

  • CSV exports

  • Apple Watch support

Duration values are validated and formatted automatically for clean, consistent tracking.

Exercise Properties

Every exercise now supports customizable tracking properties.

You can independently enable or disable:

  • Reps

  • Weight

  • Duration

This allows exercises to behave exactly how they should:

  • Planks → Duration only

  • Push-ups → Reps only

  • Dumbbell Press → Reps + Weight

  • Timed Carries → Weight + Duration

At least one tracking property must remain enabled for each exercise.

We’ve also added a dedicated Properties button directly on the record-set screen for quick access while training.

Faster Logging for Timed Exercises

For duration-only exercises, the timer input now auto-focuses immediately when recording a set, making it much faster to enter target durations and start moving.

Rest timers now trigger after duration sets just like traditional rep-based sets.

Smarter History + Analytics

Workout history now adapts dynamically based on each exercise’s enabled properties.

If an exercise tracks duration, you’ll see duration-specific history columns highlighted with a new yellow accent color.

We also added:

  • A new Duration stat in Daily Summary

  • Duration analytics rendered in minutes

  • Smarter analytics gating that hides 1RM and weight-specific analytics for exercises that don’t track weight

Apple Watch Support

Timed sets are now fully supported on Apple Watch, including duration-aware set recording during workouts.

Expanded Exercise Library

We’ve added new seeded exercise variants optimized for:

  • Bodyweight workouts

  • Timed movements

  • Duration-first exercises

This makes it easier to discover and start tracking interval-style training immediately.

CSV Export Improvements

CSV exports now include duration data columns, allowing for more complete workout analysis outside the app.

This update lays the foundation for more flexible workout tracking across strength training, cardio, HIIT, mobility, recovery, and beyond.
